Map

Getting the map

The first time you join, you get the Live Map. If you join or respawn with no map, the server gives you a new one. You can also type /map to get one. If your inventory is full, it drops on the ground at your feet.

Carrying the map

Hold the map and use it to put it in the Map slot of your gear. It then shows in your left hand, so your right hand stays free. See Backpack and gear.

Markers

The map shows the ground seen from above, and the markers move live.

• You are the white arrow, which points where you are looking.
• The members of your clan are green arrows. Other players do not show, except the one with the biggest bounty.
• The player with the biggest bounty is a red arrow, unless they are in your clan or in an allied clan. See Bounties.
• The turfs are small dots. A white dot is free, a green one is your clan’s, a light blue one is an allied clan’s and a red one is another clan’s. See Clans and turfs.
• The houses mark the SafeZones.
• A red cross marks the spot where you last died. It goes away when the server restarts.

Map edges

The map does not cover the whole play area. When you are outside its frame, your position stays a big white circle stuck to the edge of the map.

Key points

• You get the Live Map the first time you join, and /map gives you another one.
• If you use the map in your hand, it moves to your left hand.
• The map shows your position, your clan, the turfs, the SafeZones and the spot where you last died.
